Getting Starlink up and running on an Outer Banks home is a straightforward process — but coastal conditions make a few steps worth doing right the first time. Here’s exactly how it works when you go from “no internet options” to streaming in 4K, usually within a week.

Step 1: Order Your Kit

Order the satellite kit directly from the provider’s website for your service address. The standard kit includes the dish, WiFi router, cabling, and a basic tripod mount. Delivery to the Outer Banks typically takes one to two weeks. Not sure which plan fits — residential, roam, or business? Step 2: Book Your Installation

While the kit ships, request a quote or call (252) 686-1451. We’ll ask a few questions about your property — roof type, tree cover, where you want the router — and give you a flat price upfront: $300 for a standard installation, $500 for our premium whole-home setup. Step 3: Site Assessment

You’re not on your own after install day. We provide remote diagnostics and priority on-site support if anything ever needs attention — and because we’re local, “we’ll come take a look” actually means this week, not this month.
